Heavy duty lathe
The range of special heavy duty machines is represented by RT950F3, RT950F4 series.
Weight of workpieces machined on the lathes of this series is 25000-40000 kg, workpiece diameter is up to 1880 mm, and workpiece length is 3000-28000 mm.

The principle divergence from the machines of previous series is that the new machines are equipped with CNC systems.
It allows to machine curvilinear workpieces.
These machines are easily controlled, and do not require a highly qualified personnel to operate them.
The machines are supplied with CNC systems of any manufacturer according to the Customer’s request.
The new configuration of machines (two cross travels: the first one is operated from the CNC, the second one is manual)
provides retaining the dimensions of the lathes of previous series, thereby increasing maximum machining diameter.
The new design of spindle- and tailstock allows to increase the load capacity of the machined up to 40 ton.
The machines are supplied with main drive and feed drives of any manufacturer according to the Customer’s request.
Besides, the lathes may be equipped with the following options:
- C axis;
- rests for various operations;
- different types of turret heads;
- cross milling and drilling heads with independent axis of displacement;
- grinding-wheel slides for inner and outer machining;
- boring bar;
- lamellar rests.
All the above-mentioned advantages expand the technological abilities of the machines;
allow fulfilling the total machining of workpieces on one and the same lathe.
As a result we can see the reduction of the number of machine models,
and also the reduction of operating personnel and working area.
