Ryazan Machine Tool Works took part in the international exhibition Feira da Mecanica on 11th - 15th of May 2010 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Feira da Mecanica is the largest special exhibition in Latin America. In 2010 the show celebrated its 50th anniversary.

During the exhibition new inquiries for Ryazan conventional and CNC lathes came. Most of requests were received regarding special machines that are out of range of local Brazilian manufacturers.
A number of key customers were visited after the show following inquiries for high tech heavy duty machines. A range of brand new machinery is being developed by Ryazan designers as a result of detailed negotiations at the key customers facilities.

These special machines would become a new Ryazan expansion to the growing market of Brazil to be supplied via the foreign trade firm "ERESPO-IMPEX". Following the results of the business trip a range of inquiries were received for Ryazan deep-hole drilling and boring machines, conventional and CNC lathes and special machines – all customized. Earlier deliveries of Ryazan standard machines to Brazil were limited by import fees (more than 40 %). After show negotiations are mostly led on the machine models which are out of production range of local manufacturers like Nardini and Romi that is dominating in Latin America market.
