The results of the EMO 2009 show

1385 companies from 39 countries participated this year in the major machine-tool show in the world – EMO 2009. The Ryazan Machine Tool Works traditionally represented Russian machine tool building occupying a big booth with its recent development of Ryazan engineers. The booth of the Ryazan Machine Tool Works was situated in pavilion 7 where all the leaders of horizontal lathe building were presented. The Ryazan Machine Tool Works was the only participant from Russia . Its main exhibit was new heavy-duty lathe model RT950F4-6 with a through passing carriage on the three guide way bed, equipped with CNC Fanuc OiTC (100 kW) and C and Y axes with a powerful milling attachment (30kW).

During the show agents came to the booth of the Ryazan Machine Tool Works from the following countries: Finland , Norway , Italy , Spain , Turkey , France , UAI, Argentine, Chili , Venezuela , Slovenia , Poland , India , Saudi Arabia . The booth of Ryazan Machine Tool Works was visited by the representatives of more than 180 companies from 31 countries with whom it was negotiated about further distribution of new developments of Ryazan engineers. Especially they were interested in the range of deep-hole drilling and boring machines delivered to the leading world corporations in 2008- 2009, a new range of lathe models 16R35, 16R50, 16R70 è 16R150, and also hollow spindle lathe models RÒ 960, RT318 – both with through passing carriages. The main exhibit RÒ 950 F 4-6 built for turbine rotor machining up to 40 tons produced by GENERAL ELECTRICS was discussed separately.

Most of the visitors inquired Ryazan machine tools to deliver to the countries of Western Europe: Germany , Italy and Norway , Sweden , Great Britain , France , Holland and Belgium , that is to the countries where Ryazan Machine Tool Works traditionally exports its products. A considerable number of inquiries was received from Eastern Europe . Besides, special interest in the Ryazan machine tools was expressed by Indian and Brazilian customers.

Some delegations announced about their decision to visit the Ryazan Machine Tool Works with the purpose of discussing the opportunity of cooperation and acquaintance with the plant. A lot of inquiries for Ryazan machines were received and arrangements about cooperation in co-production of the machines were achieved.
