Turkish businessmen consider a possibility of the supply of wheel-turning lathes made by the Ryazan machine tool works to Turkey.

On the 16th of September 2009 the Ryazan Region presentation meeting took place in the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Moscow. The initiator of this event was the Ryazan Ministry of Economic Development and Foreign Economic Relations. About 50 Turkish companies participated in the meeting.

Those were companies engaged in house-building, machine-building, electrical equipment manufacturing, agriculture, food industry, etc. Representatives of big business-associations numbering 300 were also present there. 25 advanced investment projects in the amount of more than 2 billion Euros were offered to the participants of the meeting. Potential partners from Turkey were especially interested in projects in the field of agriculture, tourism, hotel and health station building, and also supply of wheel-turning lathes made by the Ryazan machine tool works to Turkey. Following the results of the presentation the head of the trade mission, Mr. Kizilarslan, suggested to organize a trade mission of the representatives of Turkish companies to Ryazan.

This initiative was supported by the Ryazan delegation authorities. The visit of Turkish colleagues is planned for November 2009.
